Do I need to switch wireless providers?
No. You don’t need to change or even contact your current cell phone company. Simply register your cell number with Guaranteed Proof and within two business days your account will be active and you can begin making wireless long distance calls and enjoying the savings



Do I need to notify my existing wireless provider?
No. All you need to do is register your cell number with Guaranteed Proof and within two business days you can begin making wireless long distance alls and enjoying the savings.



Now that I’ve registered, how do I use the service?
Follow these 3 easy steps:

1.  Call 1-888-329-0466 from anywhere in Canada from the cell phone number you have registered. For ease of use, program our toll-free number into your cell phone.
2. When prompted enter the cellular number you are calling from and the 4-digit pin number you have created.
3. Wait for the prompt and then enter the long distance number you would like to call:

For calls within Canada and to the U.S.
Dial 1+(area code)+(phone number)

OR

For International Calls
Dial 011+(area code)+(phone number)





Will my current wireless provider charge me any additional fees?
Airtime/local charges, roaming and/or other costs, if applicable under your wireless plan, will continue to be billed by your current wireless provider.



Does Guaranteed Proof charge any additional fees for signing up for wireless long distance?
There is no set-up fee for Guaranteed Proof Wireless Long Distance , however the three plans used in your monthly comparison all have a monthly plan fee and a monthly network fee, which are factored into the calculation of your long distance savings.



How will my wireless long distance calls placed through Guaranteed Proofs access number be billed?
Any wireless long distance calls placed through the Guaranteed Proof toll-free wireless long distance access number will be itemized on your monthly Guaranteed Proof Usage Summary. If you have multiple services with Guaranteed Proof, such as Long Distance or calling cards, they will all be detailed separately on your monthly Usage Summary. Your Usage Summary will be mailed to you on a monthly basis. Two weeks later, your monthly total will be charged to your CIBC Credit Card.



When can I expect to get my first usage summary?
You will receive your first CIBC Guaranteed Proof usage summary detailing your wireless long distance calls in four to six weeks. The total charge from your usage summary will subsequently appear on your next CIBC Credit Card account statement.



How long after I register my cell number for Guaranteed Proof Wireless Long Distance can I begin making phone calls?
Once you register your cell phone number, it will take 2 business days to activate your service. Once your service is activated you can begin making calls through our toll-free wireless long distance access number.




Do I require a pin number/password?
Yes. The first time you call our toll-free wireless long distance access number you will be prompted to select an easy to remember 4-digit password. You will enter your personal password before you place all wireless long distance calls.




What happens if I forget my 4-digit password?
Simply contact our Customer Service Centre at 1 888 621-3401 and speak with one of our Customer Care Associates who would be happy to re-set your 4-digit password for you. Once your password is re-set, you will then need to call our toll-free wireless long distance access number: 1 888 329-0466, and set-up a new 4-digit password.



My family has multiple cell phones, may I register more than 1 number?
Yes, you may register as many cell phone numbers as you wish. Each cell phone number that you enroll will be compared separately and the lowest total of the three plans will be selected based on the calling activity for each phone number.
