Why do you only compare to the three plans mentioned?
The three long distance plans chosen represent popular plans currently offered by the big three telephone companies. These plans cover various types of calling, thus providing great rates no matter when and where you call.



What are the three plans against which all of my long distance calls will be compared?

How can Guaranteed Proof offer such great rates?
We can do it because we have negotiated great wholesale rates on your behalf.



Will I ever pay a network or plan fee?
While there is no Guaranteed Proof plan fee, the three plans we currently use in our monthly comparison all have a monthly plan fee and a monthly network fee, which are factored into the calculation of your long distance savings. With Guaranteed Proof, you only pay the network and plan fees in any given month if you have made long distance calls that month.



Are there any other fees associated with the CIBC Guaranteed Proof Program?
Absolutely not. It will cost you nothing to enroll and you can cancel at any time without incurring any deactivation fees. There are no start-up fees, switching fees, cancellation fees – no minimum requirements or other special conditions. All you pay are the costs associated with the three long distance plans used in your monthly comparison.



I have a CIBC credit card that earns me reward benefits. What reward benefits will I earn by enrolling in Guaranteed Proof?
CIBC Aerogold* Cardholders will earn one Aeroplan* mile for every dollar charged to the card; CIBC Dividend® Cardholders will earn up to 1% cash dividends on net purchases made with their card; CIBC Dividend Platinum™ Cardholders will earn up to 2% cash dividends on net purchases made with their card; CIBC Vacationgold™ Cardholders will earn 1% in Vacation Dollars® for every dollar of purchases charged to the card; CIBC Gold VISA Cardholders will earn one Gold Bonus point for every dollar charged to the card; CIBC Aventrua™ Gold Cardholders will earn one Aventura point for every dollar charged to the card; CIBC Shoppers Optimum™ VISA Cardholders (CIBC Pharmaprix Optimum™ VISA Cardholders in Quebec) will earn five Shoppers Optimum points for every dollar charged to the card. When can I expect to get my first usage summary?
You will receive your first CIBC Guaranteed Proof Usage Summary in four to six weeks. The total charge from your usage summary will subsequently appear on your next CIBC Credit Card account statement.



What's the catch?
There's no catch. You just have to be a CIBC Credit Cardholder. The CIBC Guaranteed Proof Program is just one more way CIBC is committed to giving customers like you exceptional value every month, year after year.
